On March 27, 2026, we will gather at Point Park University’s Pittsburgh Playhouse for the STARMAKERS Gala, an evening of celebration, connection, and a special look at our 2026-2027 season. We are pleased to announce that Mr. & Mrs. Steven Massaro and Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy Miller will Co-Chair this year's Gala. And we will be honoring Trustee Emeritus Mr. & Mrs. Dennis Cestra, Sr. of the Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, for their steadfast commitment to advancing the arts at the Playhouse.
At a moment when the stability of the arts is uncertain, the Pittsburgh Playhouse is not just enduring, it’s thriving. As a cornerstone of Point Park University, the Playhouse is evolving as a dynamic epicenter for entertainment and education. In addition to producing for the University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts, the Playhouse functions as a professional production company. With help from supporters like you, we’ve expanded our offerings to include family-focused entertainment, original new works, music concerts, professional development festivals, interactive performances, conferences, and events.
We would be honored to have your support this year as we continue to inspire artists, expand access to the arts, and bring powerful stories to our community.
