Point Park University's Pittsburgh Playhouse is proud to present Breakthrough Sessions: Tomorrow's Music Today, a new concert series showcasing emerging and breakthrough artists while inviting audiences to discover original music of the creative voices shaping what’s next.

Presented as part of the Pittsburgh Playhouse's expanding live music initiative, Breakthrough Sessions will transform the Highmark Theatre into an intimate venue where artists can share new work, tell the stories behind their music, and connect directly with

audiences.

SUREFIRE is a Pittsburgh-based pop/rock duo featuring Natalie Flango and Jason Duty. Since forming in 2015, the pair has built a loyal following through their dynamic blend of heartfelt songwriting, infectious melodies, and engaging live performances. Following a two-year hiatus from the stage, SUREFIRE is excited to return to live performance and reconnect with audiences. Their catalog of singles, EPs, and full-length album, On Borrowed Time, is available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
