Point Park University's Pittsburgh Playhouse is proud to present Breakthrough Sessions: Tomorrow's Music Today, a new concert series showcasing emerging and breakthrough artists while inviting audiences to discover original music of the creative voices shaping what’s next.

Presented as part of the Pittsburgh Playhouse's expanding live music initiative, Breakthrough Sessions will transform the Highmark Theatre into an intimate venue where artists can share new work, tell the stories behind their music, and connect directly with

audiences.

Nick Guckert is a Pittsburgh-based singer-songwriter, guitarist, and co-owner of Club Café. A co-founder of Mystery Music Monday, Nick has built a distinguished career as a touring and recording artist, performing in more than 100 cities across 43 states and Canada. Known for his heartfelt storytelling and authentic songwriting, he connects with audiences through intimate performances that blend compelling narratives with acoustic-driven music. His work continues to celebrate the power of live music, community, and the stories that bring people together.
