The Tomayko Bar at The Pittsburgh Playhouse 

Audiences are invited to enjoy house and premium wines and brews at The Tomayko Bar located in the beautiful main lobby prior to show and during intermission. 

Patrons can also purchase a reusable spill-proof drink cup to enjoy at their seats during the performance!  Patrons can also pre-order their beverage to avoid lines at intermission.   

Bottled water and Playhouse reusable spill-proof cups are only allowed into the theatres. No food is permitted into the theatre. 

 

Coat Check 

Patrons are welcome to keep their coat or bags at the coat check in the main lobby. Please note the Pittsburgh Playhouse and Point Park University are not responsible for any lost or damaged items. 

Main Lobby 

Prior to the show, relax in our main lobby featuring our one-of-a-kind grand staircase and skylights. Benches and tables are available for sitting and conversating, close circuited TV's, and lobby music. 

Plaza and Terrace  

The Playhouse Plaza and Terrace features a glass wall that opens up into the Highmark Theatre, a walk up Box Office service window, and tables and chairs that overlook the plaza from the terrace. Located within the exterior walls are 3 original terracotta facades from the buildings that once stood in the Playhouses footprint.  

V.I.P Lounge 

The V.I.P lounge offers views into our in house costume shop, a timeline of the Pittsburgh Playhouse history, access to the outdoor terrace, all beneath our historic restored stained glass ceiling. 

Student Lounge 

Located on the third floor, the Student Lounge offers a place for students and patrons for the Rauh Theatre to relax prior to the show. The lounge features 2 paintings of the Pittsburgh Playhouse. One from the Lights Out Ceremony held at the original location on Craft Avenue, the other from the Grand Opening Gala in 2018.  

Restrooms 

Restrooms are located in the Main Lobby near the grand staircase. Changing tables and accessible stalls are located in both men's and women's restrooms. For patrons requiring a family restroom, please see a Playhouse staff member for assistance.
